Powder Coating

Powder coating is a method of painting that uses a dry, free-flowing powder instead of liquid paint with solvents. It’s become more popular over the years and is now used in about 15% of industrial finishes.

The powder is sprayed onto a surface using static electricity, then heated so it melts and forms a smooth, protective layer. There are different kinds of powder coatings, like thermoplastics and polymers, which create a stronger, more durable finish than regular paint.

Powder coating is mainly used on metal items such as appliances, tools, aluminum products, and car parts, because it helps protect them from rust and corrosion.
