Day 1 – Gateway Airport Home/Seoul
Check in at your International Airport for a connection flight to Madrid. Cross the International Date Line. Overnight on the flight.

Day 2 – Seoul
Arrive at Seoul, the capital of South Korea. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 3 – Seoul
Visit Seoul Tower on Mt. Namsa to take panoramic views of the city. Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, once the main residence of the Joseon Dynasty, including the National Folk Museum inside. Continue to see Jogyesa Temple, the center of Zen Buddhism in Korea, and nearby Insadong, a lively antique alley. Stroll alongside Cheonggycheon Stream, which runs serenely through the heart of downtown.

Day 4 – Seoul/Suwon/Andong
Bus journey to Suwon Fortress, then to Andong, the picturesque home of Korean Confucianism. Visit Hahoe Village, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage site, with 130 traditional houses of varying size and standard preserved by the same family for generations. Visit Andong Folk Museum and the historic Dosansewon Confucian School, which was established in 1574.

Day 5 – Andong/Gyeongju
Bus journey to Gyeongju, the “Museum without Walls”. The formal capital of the Silla Kingdom from 57 BC to 935 AD. Visit Gyeongju National Museum, the home to countless treasures including the 23-ton Emille Bell cast in 771 AD. Sightseeing also includes the Silla Royal Tombs at Tumuli Park, Anapji Pond, where the Silla Royal family spent their leisure, and Cheomseongdae Observatory.

Day 6 – Gyeongju/Busan
Visit two magnificent UNESCO World Heritage listed historical sites, the Seokguram Grotto, one of Asia’s finest Buddhist shrines, located on the slopes of Toham Mountain, and the beautiful temple of Bulguksa. Bus journey to Busan.

Day 7- Busan/Seoul
Visit Haedong Yonggung, 14th Century Buddhist temple located by the sea. Also to see the largest fish market in the country alongside Nampo Port. Walk at Yongdusan Park with its immense pagoda of 480 feet high. Take modern high-speed train to Seoul.

Day 8 – Seoul/Gateway Airport Home
Fly by connection flight to the Gateway Airport Home.
